King Cobra – Snake of all Snakes

King Cobra

These snakes are live in the rain forests in Southern India. King Cobra inhabits India, southern China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines and the dense highland forests of southeastern Asia.  

It’s a shy and lonesome creature, which prefers to lead an isolated life. It tries to avoid contact with humans as far as possible.  Their habitat is deep in the forest, the remote areas.  

The most poisonous snake in the world. A single drop of venom is enough to kill 100 men.

 Even though the name suggest otherwise, King cobra is not of the same Genus as the other cobras.

For King Cobra the water is not a barrier. They’re gifted swimmers.

King Cobras diet consisting mainly of other snakes, which are mostly non-poisonous. It may also eat small vertebrates, such as lizards.

They change their skins 3 or 4 times a year. In that time they stay in the bushes for 10 days or more without food. When the skin has been changed the hungry snake is ready for his hunt. All the parts of the snake are replaced by the new skin.

 In dry seasons they search for their mate. If two male cobras fighting for one female, they will fight each other without using their venom. They just dancing and try to put the other snakes head down. If they do so the winner will be ready for the mate.    

Cobras are Oviparous animals. It is the only snake covering the eggs with the nest. The nest will be constructed with a unique way. The snake itself uses his body and builds the nest using the dry leafs and other things.

 The eggs are safely in the nest in a particular temperature, when the rain season comes it’s the right time to hatch the eggs.

ஒரு டேப் ரெகார்டர் திறக்கப்படும் ஓசை. ஒரு கேஸட் ஓடத் துவங்குகிறது. ஒரு சிறுவனின் குரல் அதிலிருந்து ஒலிக்கிறது.

“இது என்னுடையது சார்”

தொடர்ந்து நான்கைந்து கேசட்டுகள். ஒவ்வொன்றும் இதே போன்று யாருடையது என்று அடையாளம் காணப்படுகிறது.

திரையில் ஒளி பரவுகிறது. அது பார்க்கும் திறனற்றவர்களுக்கான உறைவிடப்* பள்ளி.

அன்று பள்ளியின் கடைசி நாள். எல்லா மாணவர்களும் உற்சாகமாக கிளம்பத் தயாராகின்றனர். வீட்டிலிருந்து ஆட்கள் வந்து எல்லோரையும் அழைத்து செல்கிறார்கள். மிஞ்சிப் போவது பதினோரு வயது மொஹமத் மட்டுமே. அவனை அழைத்துப் போக அவன் அப்பா நெடு நேரமாக வரவில்லை.

எவ்வளவு நேரம் காத்திருக்க போகிறோம் என்று தெரியாமலே காத்திருக்கிறான். அவ்வப்போது அழுகிறான். ஒரு சின்னஞ்சிறு பறவையின் முனகல் சத்தம் கேட்கிறது. பிறந்து சில நாட்களே ஆன பறவை போல அதன் குரலில் ஒரு பலவீனம். மொஹமத் அந்த திசை நோக்கி செல்கிறான். மரங்கள் அடர்ந்த தோட்டத்தில் தரையில் அமர்ந்து கைகளால் தடவி தடவி அந்த பறவையைத் தேடுகிறான். மெதுவாக அதை கண்டுபிடித்து மரத்தில் மிகுந்த சிரமத்துடன் ஏறி அதன் கூட்டில் அதை பத்திரமாக சேர்க்கிறான். அவனை அவன் கூட்டுக்கு அழைத்து செல்ல அவன் அப்பா வருவாரா??

இரானின் மலைப்பிரதேச கிராமத்தில் வாழ்கிறது மொஹமத்தின் குடும்பம். அம்மா இறந்து போய் வருடங்கள் ஆகிறது. இரண்டு இளைய சகோதரிகள், ஒரு பாட்டி. அவனுடைய அப்பாவின் அம்மா. வெகு நேரத்திற்கு பிறகு அவனுடைய அப்பா அவனை அழைத்துச் செல்ல வருகிறார். தாமதமாக வந்ததற்கு பள்ளி நிர்வாகத்தினர் அவரை கண்டிக்கிறார்கள். அவனுடைய அப்பாவோ அவனை இங்கேயே வைத்துக் கொள்ள முடியுமா என்று கேட்கிறார்!

விடுமுறை சமயங்களில் அவனை அங்கு வைத்துக் கொள்ள இயலாதென அவர்கள் மறுத்துவிட, விருப்பமின்றி அவனை அழைத்துச் செல்கிறார். பேருந்து பயணம் முடிந்து, குதிரையில் ஏறி மலை மேல் செல்கிறார்கள். வீடு வந்து விட்டதா என்று தொடர்ந்து கேட்டுக்கொண்டே இருக்கிறான் மொஹமத். ஒரு கட்டத்தில் வந்துவிட்டதாக அப்பா சொல்ல, பாட்டியின் பேரையும் தங்கைகளின் பேரையும் உரக்க கூவிக் கொண்டே வருகிறான். அத்தனை மகிழ்ச்சி. அந்த மூவரையும் அவன் சந்தித்து அவர்களை தொட்டு உணர்ந்து நெகிழ்கிறான்.

தங்கைகளின் பள்ளிக்கு ஒரு நாள் செல்கிறான். தன் ப்ரெய்லி புத்தகம் கொண்டு மற்றவர்களை விட வேகமாகவும் தெளிவாகவும் படிக்கிறான். பாட்டி தங்கைகளுடன் விளையாட்டு, துணிகளுக்கு சாயமேற்றுதல் என மகிழ்வாய் கழிகிறது நாட்கள்.

அவனுடைய அப்பாவிற்கு எதுவுமே பிடிக்கவில்லை!

மறு கல்யாணம் செய்துகொள்ள இருக்கும் அவருக்கு மொஹமெத் தேவையற்ற ஒரு சுமை. அந்த சுமையை எப்படி இறக்கி வைப்பது? அவனை தொடர்ந்து படிக்க வைக்க விருப்பமும் பணமுமில்லை. பாட்டிக்கோ மொஹமெத்தை வீட்டிலேயே வைத்துக் கொள்ள ஆசை.

ஒரு கட்டத்தில் அவனை அடுத்த ஊரில் இருக்கும் பார்க்கும் திறனற்ற தச்சனிடம் உதவியாளனாக அவனுடைய அப்பா சேர்த்துவிடுகிறார், பாட்டி இல்லாத சமயமாக பார்த்து. வீடு திரும்புகிற பாட்டி அதிர்ச்சியுறுகிறார். மனம் நொந்து வீட்டை விட்டு வெளியேற முயற்சிக்க, அவரை தடுத்து மொஹமத்தின் அப்பா கெஞ்சுகிற காட்சி – அற்புதம். உச்சியிலுருந்து மழை கொட்டோ கொட்டென கொட்ட, தன்னுடைய நிலையை கோபமும் அழுகையுமாய் மொஹமத்தின் அப்பா விவரிக்கிறார். சிறு வயதிலிருந்து வறுமையும் துயரமும் நிறைந்த வாழ்க்கையை தனக்கென இதுவரை வாழவே இல்லையென வெடிக்கிறார்.

மொஹமெத்துக்கு என்ன ஆகும்?

Color of paradise – ஒரு fairy tale! காணக் காண திகட்டாத அழகான நிலப்பரப்பில், மலைப்பிரதேசக் குளுமையில், கற்பனைக்கெட்டாத அழகழகான இடங்களில் நம்மை பதைபதைக்க வைக்கிற ஒரு படம்.

மகனுக்கும் பேரனுக்கும் இடையே சிக்கிக் கொள்கிற அந்த பாட்டியின் நிலை பரிதாபம். கிட்டதட்ட அவரின் நிலைமைக்கு நாமும் வந்து விடுகிறோம். அந்த பாட்டி அத்தனை அநாயசமாக நடித்திருக்கிறார். யார் பக்கம் தான் இருக்க வேண்டுமென்று தெரியாமல் மனம் நொந்து செத்துப் போகிறார்!

மொஹமெத்தாக வருகிற சிறுவன் நிஜமாக மாற்றுத் திறன் கொண்டவன். அவனிடமிருந்து நடிப்பை சுலபமாக வாங்கியிருக்கிறார்கள்.

படத்தின் பல காட்சிகளில் படிமங்கள் நிறைந்து இருக்கின்றன. தான் செய்வது சரியா தவறா என்று தெரியாமல், மகனை மீண்டும் வீட்டிற்கே அழைத்துக் கொண்டு அப்பா வருகிற காட்சியில் ஒரு ஆமை கல்லிடுக்கில் சிக்கிக் கொண்டு தவிக்கிறது. ப்ரெய்லி முறையில் படிக்கத் தெரிந்த மொஹமெத் ஆற்றுப்படுகையின் கற்களில் கூட ஏதேதோ படிக்கிறான்.

மொஹமெத்தின் அப்பாவாக வருகிறவர் அசத்துகிறார். முதலில் இவரின் மேல் வெறுப்பு வந்தாலும், போகப் போக நாமும் அவரின் நிலையைக் கொஞ்சம் புரிந்துகொள்கிறோம்.

காட்டுப் பகுதியில் மகனும் அப்பாவும் செல்கிற சமயங்களில் எல்லாம் ஒரு ஓநாயின் குரல் கேட்டுக்கொண்டிருக்கிறது. ஓநாய்க்கு மகனை இரையாக்கி விடலாமா என்ற அபாயகரமான எண்ணமும் அப்பாவிற்கு தோன்றுகிறது. ஓநாய் இருக்கிற திசையில் மொஹமெத் செல்ல அப்படியே விட்டுவிடலாமா அது சரியா என்று அப்பா பதைபதைக்கிறார். ஒவ்வொரு முறையும் ஓநாயின் குரல் கேட்கிற போது நமக்கு அடி வயிற்றில் பயம்!

ஓவ்வொரு காட்சியிலும் கவிதை சொல்ல வேண்டுமென கங்கணம் கட்டிக்கொண்டு எடுத்திருக்கிறார்கள். கிணற்றில் இருந்து தண்ணீர் எடுக்கும் வாளி கூட நிலவின் பிம்பத்தை மொண்டு வருகிறது.

இந்த படம் பார்த்து நாளானாலும் இன்னும் அந்த காட்சிகள் நினைவில் இருந்து கொண்டே இருக்கின்றன. அத்தனை துல்லியமான ஒளிப்பதிவு. முடுபனி மெதுவாக திரையை ஆக்கிரமிக்கிற காட்சி தொடங்கி, இறுதிக் காட்சியில் பாலம் உடைவது வரை, இந்தப் படத்தின் மொத்த வெற்றியில் ஒளிப்பதிவாளரின் பங்கு அசாத்தியம்.

Narain Karthikeyan back in Formula One Circuit for the Indian Grand Prix

Hispania Racing (HRT) has officially confirmed that Narain Karthikeyan will make his anticipated return to a race seat for the Indian Grand Prix. Karthikeyan will also be back in the car for Friday practice at next weekend's Singapore GP in preparation for his home race.

"Of course it's a great feeling to be driving on a grand prix weekend once again, and on the subject of my home Grand Prix of India, the team had assured me that I'd be driving when I stepped out of my seat after the European GP," said Karthikeyan.

The 34-year-old Indian lost his HRT race drive to Red Bull protege Daniel Ricciardo before Silverstone, but it was always understood that he would get another chance at India's inaugural Formula 1 on 30 October. This was underlined when Karthikeyan concluded sponsorship deals for racing at the event.

He has remained part of the HRT operation and ran in Friday practice at the Nurburgring in July. Team boss Colin Kolles said the Singapore outing was to ensure Karthikeyan was not too rusty when he reclaimed his race seat for India.

"It is great to have Narain back in the car as it will give him critical seat time before he drives at the Indian GP," Kolles said. "He is the best driver to come out of the region and is undoubtedly extremely talented as he has proved through his progress this season."

Ricciardo told AUTOSPORT that he expected to be the one to move aside for Karthikeyan in India, rather than his team-mate Vitantonio Liuzzi.

Blood Grouping Procedure

Blood is composed of cells suspended in a liquid. The liquid portion is the plasma, from which therapeutic fractions and derivatives are made.


Suspended in the plasma are three types of cells:

• Red cells carry oxygen
• White cells fight infection
• Platelets stop bleeding in injuries

The most common type of grouping is the ABO grouping. Red Blood Cells have a protein coat on their surface which distinguishes them. According to this blood is divided into four groups:

• A (A oligosaccharide is present)
• B (B oligosaccharide is present)
• AB (A and B oligosaccharides are present)
• O (neither A nor B, only their precursor H oligosaccharide present)

There are subtypes under this grouping (listed as A1, A2, A1B or A2B…) some of which are quite rare. Apart from this there is a protein which plays an important part in the grouping of blood. This is called the Rh factor. If this is present, the particular blood type is called positive. If it is absent, it is called negative. Thus we have the following broad categories:

• A1 Negative (A1 -ve)
• A1 Positive (A1 +ve)
• A1B Negative (A1B -ve)
• A1B Positive (A1B +ve)
• A2 Negative (A2 -ve)
• A2 Positive (A2 +ve)
• A2B Negative (A2B -ve)
• A2B Positive (A2B +ve)
• B Negative (B -ve)
• B Positive (B +ve)
• O Negative (O -ve)
• O Positive (O +ve)
